Categories and Criteria
The awards have several categories, including:-
- Small enterprise - under 200 FTE
- Medium enterprise - 200-800 FTE
- Large enterprise - 800+ FTE
- State sector organisations
- Overall Talent Excellence Award winner
A 'highly commended' award may also be made if the judges see fit.
Judging Criteria
Applicants will need to demonstrate what their talent management programme is and how this has had a positive impact on organisational culture and performance.
Applications will be judged on five sections:
- Talent Management Alignment to Business Strategy
In this section the organisation must explain the underlying rationale of its talent management programme, the business issues it is trying to address, the commitment of the HR and Executive Team and the alignment to business outcomes. - Talent Identification Process and Methodology
Responses must outline the Talent Identification Process and Methodology that has been adopted, how data is captured and retained, the validation process and how reporting on the people capability/talent gap analysis is carried out. - Talent Initiatives and Strategy
Responses must outline the talent management initiatives which are in place and the talent management strategy for ensuring the organisation attracts, develops, deploys and retains the right talent. - Measuring Success
The success of the talent strategy and initiatives from both a human resource and business perspective must be outlined in this section. - Creating a Compelling Employee Proposition for Talent
This will require at least 10 people in your talent pool to complete the MatrixOne talent retention online survey. This survey tells how well an organisation is creating a compelling employee proposition for its talent.
