Entry guideline

Please use the following format to complete your Talent Excellence Awards entry. Entries should be sent electronically as a word document to MatrixOne with a hard copy and any attachments posted to MatrixOne, P O Box 17 231, Wellington to meet the deadline for the 2005 Talent Excellence Awards. Please use the Contact Us page for the email link to MatrixOne.

  1. Name of Organisation and Contact Details for Awards
  2. Overview of Organisation (200 words max)
  3. Business Alignment with Talent Management (500 words max)
    Please explain the underlying rationale of your talent management programme, the business issues it is trying to address, the commitment of the HR and Executive Team and the alignment to business outcomes and how long the initiative has been in place.
  4. Talent Identification Process and Methodology (500 words max)
    Responses must outline the Talent Identification Process and Methodology that has been adopted, how data is captured and retained, the validation process and how reporting on the people capability/talent gap analysis is carried out.
  5. Talent Initiatives and Strategy (1500 words max)
    Responses must outline the talent management initiatives which are in place and the talent management strategy for ensuring the organisation attracts, develops, deploys and retains the right talent.
  6. Measuring Success (200 words max)
    The success of the talent strategy and initiatives from both a human resource and business perspective must be outlined in this section.
  7. Creating a Compelling Employee Proposition for Talent
    This will require at least 10 people in your talent pool to complete the MatrixOne talent retention online survey. This survey tells how well an organisation is creating a compelling employee proposition for their talent.
    Please provide the email addresses of 10 of your employees in a cross section of roles so we can email them a talent survey. Please list them in the following format:

    (Note: we will email you in advance of sending out the talent survey to your staff, so you have time to notify them yourself of their need to participate. They will not see the results of the survey.)

    Please identify any supporting documents or material you wish to attach.
